FAQs
How Often Should I Service My Replica?
-The service schedule for your replica depends on a couple of factors. The brand of your replica, the platform, and any upgrades matter. The conditions you play in and how you store your replica also play a role. All these factors help decide how often you should maintain your replica.
-Often replicas should be cleaned at a minimum of every couple of months with weekly play, but the frequency varies widely from replica to replica. If In doubt, give us a call at (720)-215-7092, we would be happy to help you figure out your proper maintenance schedule.

-Lose the headache of figuring out why your replica shoots poorly with SherpAS.

-We pride ourselves on being able to offer one of if not the fastest, turnaround times in Colorado. We are able to diagnose your replica, proceed with service, and then return it to you in a matter of days(if no parts have to be ordered).
-Typically, from Replica receipt, to return to the customer, it’s around a week, without parts. If you need parts for your repair, we can typically receive them from our main supplier in 2 weeks. If your repair is urgent, we are able to choose a faster shipping option with customer approval.
Some Common Issues…
-
Most of the time, this issue stems from your trigger trolley being worn down over time. The fix is replacing your trigger trolley with a new one to allow your cut-off lever to knock it out of place when your semi-mode is selected. If your replica has an ETU you may have an issue with said ETU, or need to program your fire modes.
-
This issue comes from your replica’s sector gear landing in the perfect place to allow your cutoff lever to continually knock your trigger trolley out of place. Whenever you pull the trigger, your trigger trolley can’t reach your trigger contacts, and instead resets your trolley to its resting position. This whole motion results in an audible clicking noise. You can fix this issue by selecting your replicas fully automatic mode, firing a short burst, then switching back to semi-automatic. Your replica should be able to shoot semi-automatic with no "clicking" sound after this process.
-
Most of the time, if you can hear your replica firing, and BBs are not coming out of the barrel or shooting oddly, it stems from your hop-up assembly. A quick inspection of your hop-up assembly/barrel is an excellent choice here and should be done regularly anyway. You can access your hop-up assembly in most replicas by removing your takedown pins. Some replicas require more effort than others to reach your hop-up assembly, your owner’s manual and YouTube are great tools here.

Many times, depending on where the leak is, you are able to drop the proper lubricant right into the leak if it is coming from a gasket for the leak to stop. These types of leaks are typically caused by dry gaskets and are resolved through the usage of a proper lubricant to seal the dry gasket. Other times you may have to replace the gasket, gasket assembly, or valve to resolve the leak. With some tooling, leaks in mags are easily fixable and cheap to perform.

FPS issues are a relatively deep topic and can spring from many factors. Spring degradation, air loss, and non-compatible parts are just some of the many ways your FPS can change from your target FPS. In most cases, FPS issues can be a headache and are best left to professionals for excellent results.
